Unlock Your Emotional Intelligence Using The Emotion Code Chart

Often people suffer from chronic pain where no amount of medication or therapy helps. They can’t seem to find any medical reason behind it. A plausible explanation behind your chronic pain may be trapped emotions. These trapped emotions can manifest themselves in the form of acute pain and diseases. The emotion code is an instrument that can help to release these emotions.

What Is The Emotional Body?

Many cultures believe that our bodies are made up of four different parts: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. While three of them seem intangible and transient, they have a physical presence. The emotional body is known as the bridge between the physical and the mental body. It represents our feelings and relationship with our surroundings. It includes the nervous system, hormones, touch, water release (in the form of tears), and water absorption (bloating from not being able to let go, feelings of lack, and trying to hold onto/control things too closely).

People who have a balanced emotional body are inclusive, empathetic, honest, less or non-judgmental toward others, and kind. Their hormones like cortisol, insulin, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone are more balanced, their blood sugar is more regulated, the heartbeat is even, and blood pressure is balanced. The body neither retains water nor is over-dehydrated.

On the other hand, people who have an unbalanced emotional body tend to be oversaturated, aggressive, obsessive, irrational, easily irritated, depressed, overly anxious, often with hopeless judgments of relationships or situations.  Depending on whether they retain water or are dehydrated, they can either be overweight and have too much water in the aura and system or can be underweight and desiccated. Their throat may feel closed, which also adversely affects hormones.

The chakras form our energy body. You don’t need to believe in the chakras but it’s worth recognizing that there is more to you than flesh and blood and the chakras give us a way to categorize and label it.

When our energies are low, we feel depressed, anxious, and all the other negative feelings, and vice versa. In a way, chakras work like the frequencies of the emotional body. Happy thoughts equal high frequencies, and sad thoughts correspond to low frequencies.

Chakras

The word “chakra” is being used very loosely lately. Many people don’t truly understand what chakras are. The word “chakra” is a Sanskrit word whose literal meaning is the “wheel.” It refers to the energy centers in our body. These wheels of spinning energy each are thought to correspond to specific nerve bundles and major organs. To function optimally, the chakras need to stay open or balanced. If they get blocked, one may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra.

A human body is made up of 114 different chakras, out of which only seven chakras have a significant role; they are called the primary chakras.

1. Root Chakra (Muladhara Chakra)

Color – Red

Element – Earth

The Muladhara Chakra is positioned at the base of the spine, between the anus and the genitals. It is responsible for the emotions of survival, stability, ambition, and self-sufficiency. If this chakra is unbalanced, the person will feel unstable, ungrounded, lack ambition, lack purpose in life, fearful, anxious, and frustrated. However, when the root chakra is balanced, the person has more positive emotions and feels stable, confident, balanced, energetic, independent, and powerful.

2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhishthana Chakra)

Color – Orange

Element – Water

The Svadhishthana Chakra is in the lower abdomen, about four fingers below the navel. Its characteristics include the basic need for sexuality, creativity, and self-worth. If a person’s sacral chakra is imbalanced, they may feel emotionally explosive and tense, sense a lack of enthusiasm and creativity, feel manipulative, or be obsessed with sexual thoughts. When balanced, it makes one feel more lively, cheerful, optimistic, content, kind, and intuitive.

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura Chakra)

Color – Yellow

Element – Fire

The Manipura Chakra is positioned between the navel and the bottom of the rib cage, the area also known as the sacral plexus. It is identified by emotions like pride, anger, and aggression. An imbalance in the solar plexus chakra can manifest itself in the form of digestive problems, liver problems, or diabetes. And on an emotional level, one might struggle with sadness, lack of self-esteem, anger, and obsessions. By balancing this chakra, one will feel more dynamic, self-sufficient, productive, and centered.

4. Heart Chakra (Anahata Chakra)

Color – Green

Element – Air

The Anahata or the Heart Chakra is located in the heart region. This chakra is the basis of balance and is characterized by love, affection, empathy, trust, and enthusiasm. In case of imbalance, a person may deal with emotional issues like rage, lack of confidence, stress, possessiveness, fear, and moodiness. By balancing this energy center, a person feels more sympathetic, caring, positive, kind, and motivated.

5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha Chakra)

Color – Blue

Element – Space

As the name implies, the Visuddha Chakra is located at the base of the throat, corresponding to the thyroid gland. It is affiliated with motivation, healthy expression of one’s thoughts, faith, and communication ability. A blockage in the throat chakra may manifest as fear, quietness, a feeling of vulnerability, or the inability to express thoughts. When balanced, this chakra enables creativity, positive self-expression, constructive communication, and a sense of well-being.

6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna Chakra)

Color – Indigo

Element – None

The Third Eye or Ajna Chakra (pronounced as ‘Agya Chakra’) is positioned between the two eyebrows. It is used as a focal point during asana practice to develop awareness about what doesn’t meet the eyes. In yoga, it is believed that meditating upon this chakra destroys the karma of past lives and brings liberation and knowledge about the world beyond.

When balanced, it brings intelligence, intuition, insight, and self-knowledge. When imbalanced, it may make you feel unconfident and afraid of success, or on the contrary, it can make you more egotistical. An imbalance can also manifest as physical problems mainly involving headaches, blurry vision, and eye strain. When the third eye is active and balanced, a person feels more vibrant and confident, both spiritually and emotionally. They overcome the fear of death and remain free of all attachment to material things.

7. Crown Chakra (Sahastrara Chakra)

Color – Violet/White

Element – None

As the name implies, Crown Chakra is located at the crown of the head. The Sahastrara or seventh chakra is the core of spirituality, enlightenment, and powerful thought and energy. By opening the energy flow to this chakra, one gets the gift of cosmic consciousness. If it gets imbalanced, one might suffer from a constant sense of frustration, dreary and destructive feelings.

Chakras are linked with the organs and glands of the particular region where they are established. Because of this, they have a strong influence on our health, mental state, and relation with others. The chakras get balanced or unbalanced based on various factors such as our lifestyle, environment, and past experiences. An imbalanced chakra goes into either a hypoactive or a hyperactive mode. A hypoactive or blocked chakra’s functions insufficiently. Likewise, hyperactive chakra means that too much energy is flowing into that particular region, due to which the overall flow of energy gets imbalanced throughout the body.

Since chakras are interrelated, when one of them is imbalanced, it also causes a disturbance in the functionality of the other chakras. This makes people feel detached, anxious, afraid, and it also manifests as health problems in one or more body areas.

What Are Trapped Emotions?

Repressed emotions are the emotions that we bury deep into our unconscious mind unknowingly. Repressed emotions are a bit different from suppressed emotions, which are feelings we purposely avoid because we comprehend how to deal with them.

For example, we sometimes fight with our family or our partner, and if we have an important event or a meeting the very next day, we try to keep those things behind us for some time until that event or meeting ends. This is called suppressing emotions.

Suppressing negative emotions can sometimes be a good short-term solution, as long as we address those emotions later.

On the other hand, repressed emotions are the emotions that never get a chance to be processed. This doesn’t make them disappear. Instead, it pushes them deep into the subconscious for them to show up as a range of psychological or physical symptoms.

Why do we suppress emotions?

The reason behind emotional repression often goes back to childhood experiences.

The children learn the most about behavior and communication from their primary caregivers.

Therefore, the adults whose caregivers possessed the following characteristics felt pretty comfortable expressing their emotions:

  • talked about their feelings openly
  • encouraged them to share how different encounters made them feel
  • normalized their positive and negative emotional experiences
  • didn’t judge or criticize their ways of expressing emotions

Adults with repressed emotions often feel disconnected from their feelings because they had a different childhood experience. They find it difficult to express even the feelings that they have never repressed. They can also get confused with their emotions.

Those adults would be the ones whose caregivers had the following traits:

  • rarely showed emotion and were too insecure about talking about them
  • humiliated them for expressing their emotions
  • told them that what they were feeling was irrelevant or denied their experience

In this case, boys have it harder than girls. Many cultures promote toxic masculinity by telling their boys that “boys don’t cry” or “stop crying like a girl.” These boys don’t get a healthy outlet of grief and start repressing it, which starts appearing in their behavior.

What emotions do we normally repress?

People often tend to repress strong, unpleasant emotions like:

  • fury
  • frustration
  • sorrow
  • fear
  • disappointment

These are the emotions that are often considered negative. It’s common to repress emotions that are considered “bad” by society, mainly because of fear of being judged by the people.

These people have been told some insensitive things in their childhood like the following:

  • “Don’t make a fuss out of this.”
  • “Stop overreacting.”
  • “There are people who are having it worse than you.”

In most cases, the caregivers are unaware that they are invalidating the emotional experiences of their young ones. They might discourage the expression of strong emotions by using phrases like “stop crying” or “stop shouting.”

As a result of using these common phrases, the child begins to think of sadness, anger, and disappointment as emotions they shouldn’t acknowledge or express in front of someone.

They start feeling more comfortable with positive emotions or the emotions that are easily acceptable by society.

It seems easier to them to avoid negative emotions because they draw a lot of criticism and judgment.

Physical Manifestations of Repressed Emotions

Some researchers claim that emotional repression is linked to decreased immune system function. A weak immune system leads to an increased frequency of diseases and a slower recovery.

Repressed emotions can also lead to mental health conditions, such as stress, anxiety, and depression.

These emotions often manifest themselves into physical conditions like:

  • tension and pain in muscles
  • nausea and drowsiness
  • digestive problems
  • appetite changes
  • fatigue
  • sleep disorders like sleep talking or sleeplessness

We already established childhood traumas are one possible reason behind chronic emotions. As it turns out, repressed emotions can also cause chronic illness.

One of the repressed emotions is unresolved anger, which can have some significant health consequences, too. People who struggle with expressing anger in productive ways, may face a higher risk of developing the following ailments:

  • high blood pressure
  • digestive problems
  • cardiovascular disease

Signs of Emotional Repression

Repressing emotions doesn’t stop at physical manifestations; it also reflects deeply in one’s behavior that anyone can easily see. Following are such signs and symptoms of repressed emotions visible in people’s behavior:

1. They are afraid of confrontation

People who have repressed their emotions for long, often despise confrontation. They will go out of their way to avoid a fight or tense arguments, even if it bothers them to an extent where they are constantly frustrated. Confrontation isn’t easy. It can be further complicated by social anxiety flare-ups, fear of abandonment, or fear of being misunderstood that often accompanies it.

Confrontation shouldn’t be something to be worried about. The people at its receptive end should welcome feedback as a possibility of growth, and people offering it should offer it in a manner that doesn’t feel attacking. If both the involved parties avoid the offensive and defensive roles that are too tempting to slip into, confrontation can be quick, painless, and in fact, beneficial.

People who consistently avoid possible confrontations to the extent that it starts to damage their relationships or sense of self. In that case, this is a significant sign that they’re bottling up their emotions. They’re not seeking the means of working through their anger, disappointment, or resentment, and so all these negative emotions grow within.

2. Have a low temper

It doesn’t take much to upset people who have been bottling up their emotions for long. Even everyday life hassles can agitate them. It feels like they’re exploding over every little thing.

But in reality, it is not these hassles that are upsetting to them. They are upset about so many other things that these feelings start to accumulate within them and couldn’t be released, so they begin to escape through their subconscious behavior.

So they explode over tiny things. Perhaps it’s because that little thing is just another case of something going wrong. People displace their anger, as it feels easier to get mad at the partner for leaving the dirty dishes on the dining table than to address the real issues present in the relationship.

If small things are grinding someone’s gears, there are two possible causes:

  1. They have anger issues to work through, or they’re too stressed and take it out on the smallest provocations.
  2. They’ve been bottling up their emotions for too long.

It would help if people in such conditions addressed their feelings as they come.

3. They lose the sense of self

When people continually bottle up their emotions, they are forced to play a character. They are essentially acting like someone who is okay with what happened or who doesn’t have any overwhelming issues right now. But playing this role can be overloading and can create a divide between who they are and what they represent.

These people feel like they’re not the same person socially as they are in private.

If someone doesn’t feel like themselves with even the closest of their friends, this is a sign that there is something that needs to be changed. Adapting oneself slightly around different individuals is natural, but this should focus on a specific part of their personality rather than filling in the gaps. People who feel distant from the person they are in public; need to address which emotions they’ve been suppressing for too long.

4. They seek distractions

Given the extent to which social media and Netflix have formed a grip on our daily lives, spotting a person who is constantly seeking distraction is a tad difficult. These people often scroll through their Instagram or Facebook feed mindlessly when confronted by emotions they are not ready to face.

Part of bottling up the emotions is avoiding them. When they don’t want to discuss something, they put on a movie instead. If they’re tempted to respond to their friend and confront them, they open Instagram to distract themself.

But distraction can affect our behavior to the extent that it starts to interfere with our coping mechanism. Individuals who smoke or drink heavily often carry more stress or repressed emotions, so they use the substance to mask the issue.

This is seen particularly in people fighting depression. They may oversleep to avoid confronting how they feel and minimize the hours in the day they have to deal with. With high-functioning depression, they often keep themselves far too busy to avoid being alone with their thoughts and emotions, which is also a form of bottling it all up.

People who can’t be alone or sit quietly might be using distractions to repress their emotions.

5. They feel uncomfortable around emotional people

People who have their feelings bottled up feel uncomfortable around people who don’t feel ashamed of expressing their emotions.

Primary displays of emotion, like someone crying when they’re grieving or have just received bad news, make them feel on edge. We should be capable of comforting individuals who express emotion, or at the bare minimum, be able to witness it without running.

When someone is so affected by emotional displays that they feel uncomfortable and want to run away, it can be a tattletale sign of emotional repression. When we don’t confront and cope with our emotions, it causes a dispute within to watch someone do that. People with repressed emotions may have learned certain stigmas regarding the display of emotion in childhood that make it difficult to express how they feel or watch others do so.

One doesn’t have to express as much emotion as others. But if emotions are causing internal dispute, there’s a reason for that, and it can be rewarding to work through it.

6. They always feel anxious

People may feel anxious when they choose not to confront something; that may even be why they do so. They may feel anxious when they force themself not to speak up. It can be anxiety-inducing to hold emotions in and not feel comfortable sharing them. The body perceives anxiety as an effort to deceive itself and repress certain emotions.

All these moments add up, and they reach a point where anxiety almost becomes their natural state. Except that it is exhausting and maladaptive, they can’t live in this heightened state of fear. They need to be able to relax, and this requires them to cope with emotions so that they can be removed efficiently from the mind.

7. They struggle with frequent headache

Bottling up the emotions doesn’t only affect one’s mood and mental health, but also their physical health.

People who are struggling to control their emotions experience regular headaches with no underlying physical ailment for it.

The headache increases when they find it hard to focus and not get distracted.

It’s wise to consider physical causes for the headache or other ailments, but it is also preferable to recognize that the mental state feeds directly into this. When the body is in a heightened state of stress, it cannot perform optimally, and its effects get visible. Emotional repression leads to the stress of not being able to express oneself, which can ultimately cause headaches.

8. They have digestive issues

Not many people know that the brain and gastrointestinal tract are closely related. In fact, the gut is sometimes referred to as “the second brain”. Not only is the head affected by repressed emotions, but the gut takes the damage too.

Emotions are often felt in the gut, including sadness, nervousness, fear, joy, and anger. That’s why people feel “sick to the stomach” when nervous or excited in the form of butterflies. An anxious and overwhelmed mind causes imbalance within the gut. Symptoms include an upset stomach, bloating, constipation, vomiting, and diarrhea. Holding emotions in will cause a great deal of unease.

Even getting rest, working through the emotions, or taking counseling can ease the system. Anxiety and stress not only affect the mind; they devastate the whole system.

Pushing away an emotion doesn’t make it just go away. The sentiment has been brewed within and will remain somewhere until it is dealt with. Some people believe it stays in our minds, feeding into subsequent emotions. Others believe that emotions are carried within our limbs or certain parts of our bodies.

It can be overwhelming to deal with one’s emotions. But to find happiness and true peace, it is necessary to confront them.

What Is An Emotional Wall?

The emotional wall is the self-protective barrier the subconscious ego puts in place for our defense. Whenever we meet someone new, our natural defense system automatically comes into play. We try to assess their potential merit or harm and try to judge if they are someone we want to know? If so, how far do we let them into our lives? This wall gives us a chance to mentally assess incoming information that we receive about an unknown person.

But the wall that protects us also works like the wall that isolates us. It won’t be entirely wrong to say that emotional walls are, in a way, emotional detachment. The wall is especially noticeable when it comes to dating and romance. People often turn to unusual tactics when they feel on the brink of being exposed. This level of involvement creates a natural vulnerability that causes some individuals to avoid all connection attempts.

Why are they formed?

Emotional walls may be voluntary. Some people choose to remain emotionally detached from a person or situation.

Other times, the formation of an emotional wall results from trauma, abuse, or a previous encounter. Previous events may make it challenging to be open and honest with a friend, loved one, or significant other in these cases.

As a defense mechanism

Some people choose to remove themselves from an emotional situation willingly.

They might do so if they have a family member or a colleague that upsets them considerably. They can choose not to engage with the said person. They do so to remain cool and keep their calm.

In situations like this, the emotional wall is a bit like a protective measure. It helps them prepare for situations that would normally cause them immense pain.

In reaction to abuse

Sometimes, emotional walls may be a reaction to traumatic events, such as childhood abuse or neglect. Adults who were abused or neglected as a child may develop emotional detachment as a means of survival.

Children require a lot of emotional reciprocity from their parents or caregivers. If it’s not happening, the children may stop awaiting it. When that happens, they may begin to be less emotionally available.

That can lead to a depressed mood, inability to show or share emotions, and behavior problems.

Adults who were abused or neglected as a child, or were raised in a particular type of strict household, may also struggle with accepting other people’s emotions. They have a hard time responding to a significant other in a time of high stress and emotion.

Other conditions

Emotional detachment or “numbing” is frequently a symptom of other conditions. One may feel distant from their emotions at times if they struggle with:

  • post-traumatic stress disorder
  • bipolar disorder
  • major depressive disorder
  • personality disorders

How do know if you too have an emotional wall?

If you exhibit the following features, there is a high chance that you may have built an emotional wall around yourself:

  • difficulty creating or maintaining a healthy personal relationship
  • a lack of attention or appearing lost when around others
  • the problem of being loving or affectionate with a family member
  • avoiding people, activities, or places because they’re associated with past trauma or event
  • facing difficulty in expressing emotion
  • inability empathizing with another person’s feelings
  • being uncomfortable sharing emotions or feelings
  • trouble committing to another person or a relationship
  • not being able to commit to another person a priority even when they should be

Heart wall

We often feel pain or discomfort in the chest and throat when someone hurts us or has a deep sense of grief or loss. This physical sensation is also referred to as “heartache.” The heart is the core of the being. The subconscious mind knows that it is vital to protect the heart in any way possible.

When people experience the trauma of losing a loved one or other hurtful experiences, an energetic “wall” may form around their hearts. It is made due to the accumulation of trapped emotions wrapped, layer-by-layer, around the heart.  It is defined as a protective mechanism designed to protect the heart from further hurt, but it has a downside. While this Heart-Wall may be helpful to get through a tough time, it may keep us from living a full and vibrant life.

While a Heart-Wall can protect from bad feelings coming in, it also keeps out the good feelings. Temporarily, the Heart-Wall works as a protection in a fight-or-flight situation. However, later, this Heart-Wall can block you from living life to the fullest.

What Is Energy Healing?

Energy Medicine is based upon the pseudo-scientific assumption that the human body incorporates an energetic “life force” and energy centers (chakras) that keep the body’s cells healthy, optimally functioning, and growing.

Energy healing is a holistic approach where healers channel a universal life force (or healing energy) into the patient to help balance, heal and remove blockages from their energetic body. Flow, equilibrium, consistency, and vitality within the body can be renovated and maintained during treatment. Energy Medicine includes various holistic healing practices like Reiki Energy Healing, Emotion Code, Light Therapy, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Thai Massage, Tapping, and more.

Your energetic body has an essential role to play in your well-being journey. Here are five basic facts about Energy Healing:

1. Energy Healing is Based on Scientific Fact

Everything in this universe is composed of minute particles called molecules that are vibrating at various frequencies. The molecules within our bodies are constantly vibrating and radiating positive or negative, balanced or unbalanced, opened or closed frequencies.

When our organs are misaligned energetically and emit low-vibrational frequencies, it can manifest into physical problems, like chronic pains, sickness, and other diseases.

2. It Helps Heal Physical and Emotional Traumas

Our energetic bodies are entangled with our physical bodies. All the traumas we bear physically, emotionally, and psychologically impact the performance of our energy systems or chakras and vice versa.

It is necessary for energies to have energetic space to flow freely throughout the body in order to maintain vibrant health. When these energies get blocked because of emotional traumas, toxins, chronic stress, and muscular compressions, it creates turbulence in the energy flow in our bodies, which over time contributes to mental, emotional issues and/or diseases and physical disease.

3. It is easily accessible

There is a myth going around that you need to be spiritual and receptive to energy healing. Energy healing is readily available to everyone interested and willing to receive it. The truth is that one doesn’t need to be spiritual or hypersensitive to energies to benefit from an energy healing treatment.

Just like every other living being, we too have an energetic body that needs to be in harmony with our other bodies (like emotional and physical). Some energy medicine modalities, like reiki and emotion code chart, transcend time and space. Therefore, one can benefit from them even if they are not located in the same room, city, or even country as their energy healer.

4. It is Painless and has no Negative Side Effects

Unlike physical procedures, during an energy healing treatment, patients will feel little to no physical discomfort. During most of the session, patients will be lying comfortably on a bed or a plinth. At the same time, the practitioner assesses their aura non-invasively and releases energetic blockages from the body.

As the blockages are being removed and chakras are being balanced, patients will experience a rebalancing process that may evoke various emotions or physical sensations, like tiredness, anger, sadness, emptiness, or lightheadedness. This usually occurs when an old and deeply embedded trauma or attachment is released from the physical, emotional, and energetic bodies. It is essential to allow the mind, body, and soul to acknowledge the trauma that has been released during the energy healing treatment and fill that space with new, light, healing energies.

5.  Energy Medicine is safe to use with other types of treatments

.Energy healing therapy is used to treat various health conditions, and it complements many other forms of treatments and therapies. Combining energy therapies, like an emotion code chart, with conventional health treatments can help one optimize their health and wellbeing. Energy medicine doesn’t claim to be better than Western Medicine and vice versa. But, various forms of healing modalities and therapies can work together to provide a sense of holistic wellness of the body, mind, and energies.

What Is An Emotion Code?

The Emotion Code is an energy healing therapy used to quickly and accurately find and release trapped emotional energy. Dr. Bradley Nelson is a chiropractor who developed the Emotion Code over twenty years of his practice. The Emotion Code works by literally getting rid of the long bore emotional baggage. Much of your emotional baggage comes from the negative experiences in which you were traumatized or overwhelmed by your emotions at the moment. When one cannot fully process emotions as they occur, the emotional energy remains trapped in the body, affecting one’s physical health. Also, blocking or “stuffing” an emotion can cause non-useful energy to become trapped.

Over time these trapped emotions/energies can interfere with their physical and emotional health and disrupt interpersonal relationships. They will also attract more of the same energy. For example, if a person has a trapped emotion of anger, the energy of that anger in the body will make it easier for them to slip back into that emotion. Trapped emotions give rise to depression or anxiety, prevent us from experiencing love and happiness, and make us feel disconnected from others. It’s essential to be mindful that trapped emotions are made of energy, as is the rest of the body, and thus can influence our physical tissues, causing acute pain and disease.

One of the best features of the emotion code is that it allows us to bring awareness to many issues from the past that we forgot. The practitioner gains access to the memory of the subconscious mind through muscle testing to get the information they need to release trapped emotions. Using muscle testing helps them to quickly identify and release hidden trapped emotions, which are harmful emotional energies from past adverse events.

With the Emotion Code technique, trapped emotions are released by running a magnet down the person’s back several times while remembering or acknowledging certain events and experiences. It looks effortless, but the effects can be very profound. Releasing trapped emotions makes conditions suitable for the body to heal physically, and emotional problems often disappear or become much easier to handle and eventually solve. Some people feel better almost instantly; for some, the changes are very subtle and seem to come over time after several sessions. Many people report feeling “lighter” after an Emotion Code releasing session as if a weight has been lifted from them.

Emotion Code works well for all ages.

Sadly, some of our trapped emotions are handed down to us from our parents. Most of us carry some ancestral emotional baggage. These inherited emotions can also be released with the Emotion Code. Not only does it remove from us, but it also releases from all the previous generations who passed this on to us. This can bring profound healing within families.

Difference Between The Emotion Code And The Body Code

The Body Code is a simplistic, refined, patented, revolutionary energy balancing system that includes Emotion And more. The Body Code helps in identifying the underlying root causes of physical and emotional discomfort, suffering, and sickness in the body and spirit.

Sometimes we are in a situation where we cannot express our emotions, so we have to hold them back or stuff them (also called the blocking of emotions) . We are supposed to feel the feelings that go through us, but they become trapped deep in our bodies when we have to stuff these emotions. If these emotions stay trapped, it creates a negative vibration that affects our organs, muscles, and tissues (or the system as a whole) and disrupts our life. The Emotion Code is designed to help ease physical discomfort, soothe emotional wounds, and restore love to relationships.

Emotion Code

Body Code

How does it work? Our subconscious mind is like a super-computer that records everything about us from the beginning to the present day and is meant for the ultimate healing and happiness. The Emotion Code works by asking the subconscious mind specific questions to release the energy of the trapped emotions using kinesiology in a safe and non-invasive approach. The Body Code is designed such that it quickly identifies issues with the state-of-the-art whole body, mind, and spirit energy healing technology. The intent behind this is to empower a person to regain health and wellbeing in their life. It works by identifying the root causes of emotional and physical distress and concerns. Using kinesiology, the certified practitioner releases the root causes of what has been ailing the person and may restore optimal health and wholeness.

Is it right for me?

Dr. Nelson states that most people have thousands of trapped emotions that they are unaware of, so almost everyone can benefit from using the Emotion Code. The effects can be seen immediately or may appear as subtle changes over the period of a few sessions. The process of removing trapped emotions rebuilds the body’s balance and boosts the natural ability to heal physically and emotionally. The Emotion Code is a patented revolutionary energy balancing system intended to help one uncover the root causes of pain, sickness, and distress in body and spirit — so they can have the opportunity to make the suitable corrections wherever needed.
Dr. Nelson says that imbalances are found particularly in six areas that may be the root causes of all diseases. If one experiences imbalances in the body, using the Body Code with a certified practitioner may help in removing the energy of these imbalances and regain balanced health quickly and painlessly. The Body Code is a patented, revolutionary energy balancing system that intends to help one uncover underlying causes of pain, sickness, and distress in body and spirit so that one can have the opportunity to make the right amendments that can help solve their problem.

How Does An Emotion Code Work?

Quantum physicists have proven that all our bodies can be divided all the way down to the level of the cell until we get to our DNA. The DNA can then be divided into atoms, electrons, protons, subatomic particles, and then – all we have is SPACE. In fact, they have found that our bodies are 99% space!

Another thing that quantum physics has confirmed is called “entanglement,” which means when an electron moves in one place, there is a similar action somewhere else because they are entangled together. In other words, we are correlated to everything else, so we can affect another person far away.

The Emotion Code uses applied kinesiology, or muscle testing, which shows the body’s response to an idea or a question in the weakening or strengthening of muscles related to it. This technique assists us in getting “yes” or “no” answers from the body and is used to get information about asymmetries causing emotional or physical distress. This works effectively because all the information about our bodies and minds is stored in the subconscious mind, which makes up about 95% of it. The part of the psyche remembers what we had for lunch on the first Monday of April last year! It stores all the information, like a backup disc, and controls your heartbeat, blood pressure, liver functioning, etc. It also knows about everything that is making the body sick. For example, your subconscious knows that the breakup with your high school girlfriend in 1980 is causing your neck pain today, even if you no longer remember or think about it. That is why The Emotion Code is so interesting – it allows us to access and deal with information that we consciously never would realize is important.

But it’s not just the memory that’s important; its energy, or, more precisely, the effect of emotional energy on our bodies’ energy, is what matters the most. Emotions are made of pure energy and have a specific frequency, and when we feel them, their energy gets trapped in the body. Each one of these is actually a trapped emotion, which constantly interacts with a specific part of your body, wherever it is trapped. The energy of this emotion can then “interfere” with the natural frequency of the body and begin to manifest itself as some form of physical or emotional problem.

Our bodies are made of atoms that vibrate to release energy, which is not restricted by the limitations of the physical realm like many people believe. Because of this and the entanglement theory mentioned earlier, we can use applied kinesiology to identify trapped emotions and then release them using The Emotion Code. It works just as well remotely as it does in person.

Once the practitioner identifies the trapped emotion, it can be released by running a magnet over the energy line of the body called the governing meridian (spine). The perfect analogy for this would be taking a credit card and running it over a magnet; the magnet will change or delete the information on the card. In the same way, once the trapped emotion is identified (by accessing the memory from the subconscious mind using applied kinesiology), a magnet is run over the governing meridian, which deletes or releases the energy from the body.

From a distance, a practitioner can run the magnet over himself/herself, as she has permission to be a proxy for the patient, which somehow releases the trapped emotion from the patient. This is once again based on the theory that we are all made of space and energy and connected to each other.

Practitioners work with animals and children too in a similar way.

Guide To Emotion Code Chart

For a certified practitioner, using the emotion code chart is simple. Yet, one can become familiar with the use of the chart by reading books and going through tutorial videos and recordings. When you decide to put in a couple of hours with the emotion code chart, you will understand its composition and how quickly it functions. Ultimately, you begin feeling that it can assist you with releasing the trapped feelings. Here is a guide that can help you in using the Emotion Code Chart.

1. The initial step you need to take is to associate with your subject or your inner mind. You can pick an individual to be your subject, an animal, or even rehearse it remotely.

2. The subsequent step is to ask your psyche or your subject about the trapped feelings. It is essentially the feeling that you or your subject wish to release. You should know whether the area of the trapped feeling is in section A or in section B. You can likewise go for the ‘muscle test’ to really look at your answer’s reliability. If the muscle you are testing weakens, it is a sign that the answer is a ‘No.’

You can get yourself or your subject other choices and inquire whether the trapped feeling is in another column. Be sure that you can get a positive or even a negative answer over and again.  In that case, you must breathe, reset, and repeat until you gain a sure response. Once you are sure about the column of your trapped emotion, you will receive a list that is cut in halves.

3. The next thing you should ask after knowing the appropriate response or the column number is the row number. In each column, there are six rows. The quickest method to discover the row number is to pose questions. You should know, either the trapped feeling is in the odd rows or the even rows. The reason for this step is to know explicitly about the column and the row number of the trapped feeling of yourself or your subject.

You can begin asking yourself or your subject, “Is the trapped feeling in row one?” You continue to ask while referencing the row number until you get an affirmative reply.

1. When you are sure with the row and the column number, then, at that point, you have narrowed down your search to five emotions. In this part, you must be very concentrated on testing these emotions individually. You can take the assistance of the muscle testing in this step, as well, to have an accurate answer. Ensure that you come up with only one emotion at one time. One of the five feelings will test stronger than others.

2. Assuming every one of the feelings tests ‘no’ or appear to be powerless, the result is that you have an inherited trapped feeling.’ This can be a feeling which is passed to you organically, by your mom or father. In such a case, you can go for a much more in-depth process to know the source of the trapped feeling.

Muscle Testing With Emotion Code Chart

As the name suggests, muscle testing determines how strongly a single muscle in your body is working. Many people believe that an emotional block and a dysfunctional muscle could be related to each other. Muscle testing techniques are based on principles of biomagnetic energy. While our conscious mind is oblivious mainly to these energies, we believe they profoundly affect our subconscious mind. The premise of muscle testing is that the subconscious can lead the body to respond to or reinforce positive energy and avoid or reject negative energy. These responses are what make muscle testing reliable.

The practitioner can tap into this relationship between the subconscious mind and energy by asking “true/false” questions and checking the body’s response. The response can be checked in a  number of ways but is often done with simple and easy methods like the Arm Test, where the subject simply holds one arm outstretched in front, parallel to the floor.

The examiner then places two or three fingers on the subject’s wrist and asks a true/false question, placing a small amount of pressure simultaneously. If the subject’s arm resists the pressure and holds the position, that is a “strong response,” and it means that the answer is “yes.” If the arm gives way under pressure, that’s a “weak response” and equals to a “no” answer. This strong response/weak response forms the basis of muscle testing.

Common Methods Of Muscle Testing

1. The Sway Test:  The easiest method of self-muscle testing is The Sway Test because most people can make it work for themselves with only a little practice.

The Sway Test works by uncovering the reply as the body responds by swaying forward or backward. The idea is that if your body sways forward, it signifies moving toward truth, positivity, or congruence. If it sways backward, it signifies moving away from negativity, falsehood, or incongruence. This goes back to the knowledge of true and false rooted deep in your subconscious mind.

Even plants have been shown to naturally grow toward light, soothing music, or positive energy and grow away from negative stimuli, such as metallic music. It is believed that our bodies have a similar mechanism built-in.

Before attempting the Sway Test, it’s advisable to turn off the music, TV, or any other distraction as they interfere with the testing, especially during the learning phase.

Following are the steps for the sway test:

  • Stand comfortably, with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Place both your hands down by the sides.
  • Close your eyes and pay attention to the instructions.
  • While you’re standing there, you might notice that there could be a little bit of swaying or twitching going on all the time. The body tends to swing a little bit in the forward-backward or right-left direction when eyes are closed. That is the swaying that takes place when the body is trying to maintain a perfectly erect posture. The postural muscles are just working to keep the body standing straight, and that’s natural.

Now, try and think about war. Keep thinking about that thought in your head while you’re standing; now try to picture all the people who have been martyred, all the families that have been torn apart, the disaster, all the people who have been injured, all the damage. You should find your body may try to duck away from this thought that you’ve put out in front of you. You’ll likely find yourself swaying backward, away from the idea of war, because that thought is so damaging. This backward sway usually happens within 3 to 10 seconds but can happen sooner.

Once you get that response, clear your mind of that thought and instead think about love. Imagine that you are a person of unconditional love, and your heart is full of it. The beautiful energy flows out of your heart and fills the vastness of space. The picture that you love everyone unconditionally; disregard who they are. Imagine how it feels like to be loved and accepted unconditionally by others in return. As you picture the unconditional love in your mind, you should find your body wanting to move forward toward the positivity, the congruency, and the beauty of the thought of unconditional love. Again, this forward movement should begin within 3 to 10 seconds but may occur sooner.

You have achieved a proper baseline test once you get a clear and accurate answer for each exercise. This means you should be reliable and can go forward to use the Sway Test for other questions or statements. For example, if you use The Emotion Code, you might ask, “Do I have a Trapped feeling?” The Sway Test can be used for any of the inquiries you want to ask your subconscious.

2. The Elbow Test: The Elbow Test is a popular self-testing method because most people say it can be used for long periods without creating fatigue. Follow these steps to begin;

  • Keep either elbow on your side, securing your upper arm against your body, or supported against the back of a chair.
  • The elbow should be bent at a 90-degree angle, so your forearm lies parallel to the floor. Your palm can be placed up, facing the ceiling, or rotated down to face the floor.
  • Now place two or three fingers from your other hand on the wrist.
  • Say the word “yes” and gently push down on the arm. The forearm should remain rigid.
  • Now say the word “no,” and again gently apply a downward force. You should be able to detect a slight weakening, and the forearm should give way to the force.

Remember, with all of these tests, you are trying to pick up even the slight change observed in the body. You aren’t looking for a big difference, but with practice, you should be able to catch on to the minute differences between “yes” and “no” answers. If you can master the Elbow Test, it will be a great tool to have.

3. The Ring-In-Ring Test: Form a closed ring or circle shape with the thumb and middle finger of one hand. Now form the same shape with the thumb and middle finger of the other hand. Join these rings together like two links in a chain.

You can use this manual muscle testing technique in two different ways:

1. Use one hand as the resistance ring and one hand to be the pressure ring. The pressure ring will remain locked or closed, while the resistance ring will break for a “no” answer and stay closed for a “yes” response.

2. You can instead intend for both rings to remain locked on a “yes” answer and both to break on a “no” response.

First, connect with your subconscious, get permission to ask questions. With a “yes,” ask if you have trapped emotions that need to be released. With a “yes,” get started asking which column A or B.

If both columns are “No,” ask if this is a “heart wall trapped emotion,” and the answer will most probably be always yes. Then continue to ask questions to find the trapped emotion.

As in the previous methods, try varying the force in the rings while saying something negative or unpleasant. As you make the statement, try and pull the rings apart. Keep in mind that you are simply trying to find the strength setting that permits the rings to pull apart on a negative or unpleasant thought or statement and remain linked on a piece of positive or congruent information.

Questions For Muscle Testing

It is always recommended to practice muscle testing on yourself when you first begin your energy healing journey. The more you practice, the more confident you’ll become about the results. You should practice on yourself as often as you want to get comfortable. The ideal way to start is by asking yourself questions whose answers you already know. This will help you have a better understanding of your bodily responses.

Some basic examples of questions you can ask yourself are ‘My name is (your name)’ followed by ‘My name is (not your name).’ ‘I live in (your city’s name)’ and ‘I live in (another place you don’t live).’ Try out a few similar questions where you already know if what you’re saying is true or not.

See if you sense a pattern as you muscle test with these questions. Notice how your muscles respond to factual statements and false statements. You can also experiment with a few of the different muscle testing techniques while you repeat these types of simple questions to decide what test works best for you.

Phrase your questions for a true/false response

When you start asking more complicated questions, it’s essential to ask them in a way that allows for only two answers, i.e., “yes” or “no.” Your subconscious talks to you through your body by giving a strong or a weak response; therefore, questions need to be framed in a way that your answers correspond to one of these responses. You’ll need to make sure to prepare questions in a way that they can be answered with a yes/no, or a true/false. For example, if you want to know about your trapped emotions, you should ask, “Do I have a Trapped Emotion,” instead of asking, “What emotion is trapped in my body.” The former question will have a clear “true/false” or “yes/no” response, while the latter won’t have a clear way for your body to answer that question through muscle testing.

Try to get any bias out of your mind before the testing.

When performing muscle testing with emotion code, try to ask questions without attaching any emotion to the result. If you already know what you want an answer to be, your responses will likely be affected by that feeling. Your muscle testing procedure will produce better results if you remove your personal bias or preconceptions about the answers.

Questions to ask when proxy muscle testing

If you want to practice muscle testing by proxy, it’s important to ask a few direct questions to determine whether or not you are fully connected to the subject you’re testing for. After you’ve taken a moment to connect with the subject you’re testing for and set an aim to help them, you can try asking a few questions to clarify if you’re ready to test for them. You might ask, “Am I connected to (person’s name?)” and see what response you receive.

Factors That May Affect Your Ability To Muscle Test

One’s ability to conduct muscle testing could be interfered with by a few issues. These include:

1. Dehydration

If you’re dehydrated, it may be challenging to get an accurate response from a client or yourself. As an examiner, you may struggle to read responses accurately if you lack hydration.

2. Putting too much pressure

We recommend only a nominal amount of pressure to determine a strong or weak response. Applying too much resistance can make it difficult to catch the subtle difference between them, giving you inaccurate testing results.

3. Misaligned neck vertebrae

A misaligned neck could interfere with your getting accurate answers in your practice with muscle testing.

4. Trapped Emotions or Other Imbalances

Certain Trapped Emotions or other bodily imbalances could make you less receptive to positive energy. It is recommended to see an Emotion Code or Body Code practitioner to clear up some of these specific issues.

5. Lack of confidence

You may struggle most if you don’t trust yourself or your results. To get precise muscle testing results, it is required to have a certain amount of faith and trust.

Are Emotions Magnetic?

Emotions behave like a magnet.

A magnetic field is a force field created by moving electric charges, also called electric currents and magnetic dipoles, and applies a force on other nearby moving charges and magnetic dipoles. It has a direction and a magnitude (or strength) at any given point, so a vector field represents it.

One would think that our feelings are independent of those around us. But no, we are all like electrons. This stable subatomic particle has a charge of negative electricity and is found in all atoms, and acts as the primary carrier of electricity in solids.

You think your vote is more independent than the rest of other people’s choices, but again no. It’s because of the magnetic forces behind emotions. Our voting decision outcome, for example, depends on which side we are closer to, the north or the south (emotional) magnetic fields. That is why certain states always vote for the same percentage to each political party’s candidates. We are affected by the so-called emotional magnetic field, something we cannot touch but only feels.

To sum it up, we humans have an electromagnetic energy force inside us. We are slowly learning to understand and measure it.

The electromagnetic energy fluctuates and changes with different thoughts and feelings, which means thoughts and feelings are electromagnetic forces inside all of us.

Thoughts are the electric part of our internal electromagnetic force. Feelings and emotions are the magnetic part. Think about it. When you are triggered with a strong feeling or emotion, you feel it in your body. It can be energizing or debilitating. It can be very strong. It’s like a magnetic pull inside us.

How Do Emotion Codes Work With Magnets?

Scientists continue to explore and debate the use of magnets for wellness. However, doctors and researchers across the field do share several broadly accepted views, including the idea that magnets can increase blood flow, improve flexibility and increase muscle strength. It is also widely believed that magnets can help the body’s muscles and soft tissues relax and lengthen, facilitating recovery while reducing muscle swelling and pain. Magnets may also help minimize calcium, cholesterol, and lactic acid deposits in the blood. Similarly, evidence suggests that magnetic fields can also act as a pain-blocking mechanism in nerve fibers.

Muscle testing can help one connect to their subconscious and get answers via their body. By using the Emotion Code Chart, one can ask where their trapped emotions are.

The chart will help determine which column, which row, block, and finally, emotion. Next, one needs to know the approximate age at which that trapped emotion was acquired. Lastly, ask if it was from a friend or a family.

You are “calling out the trapped emotion.” by paying attention to it. Because of that, the energy of that emotion is brought up to the surface on the primary meridian (spine).

By moving a magnet across your primary meridian, the negative trapped emotion disappears forever. Your intention and the magnet combined will free the trapped emotion—you can use your finger as a magnet or can even use a refrigerator magnet. For more profound healing, one should use a strong Nikken magnet.

If you are working on yourself or via proxy, you’ll have to swipe the magnet over your head. When treating a person face-to-face, you’ll swipe the healing magnet from their upper spine down to the middle of the back.

The Science around Energy Healing Magnets

Human energy fields are another feature of science that plays a significant role in energy healing methods. Human energy fields correlate to the electrical pulse produced by the beating of a heart and the functioning of a brain. Scientists measure the human electrical field of the heart and brain by using various machines. Researchers have found that human’s electrical and magnetic fields increase considerably during energy healing sessions. These changes can be measured and recorded.

One can easily see this with Aura Photography and the energy fields around people.

Energy Healing Magnets with animals

The Emotion Code Healing with animals is the most rewarding. Yes, animals, too, have trapped emotions. But they don’t have as much ego and anger as humans. Animals respond very quickly when you try to connect to their subconscious. They often enjoy the magnet going down the spine. The rolling magnets work as a massage for them.

Cautions while using Emotion Code magnets for energy healing

Following people should avoid taking an energy healing session with magnets:

  • A person who uses an electronic medical device such as a pacemaker.
  • A person with a magnetically sensitive surgical implant.
  • Pregnant women, especially those who are in the first trimester of pregnancy, or anyone who has a serious health problem.

Even if you don’t fall under any of the above-mentioned categories, you should avoid using or wearing magnetic products during the session.

Does An Emotion Code Chart Really Work?

Emotion code chart is not considered a part of Western Medicine; hence, people have their doubts about it. However, people who have actually used it have a lot of good things to say about it. Here are a few anecdotes of people who used the emotion code chart and their experience with it:

1. Molly Painschab

Molly Painschab is a food addiction counselor in Montana, USA. She became interested in The Emotion Code after listening to Tony Robbins talk about it on a podcast. Having learned about it, she contacted a Certified Emotion Code Practitioner and scheduled a session with her.

Talking about her experience, she says, “Following my Emotion Code session, I felt lighter! I felt more relaxed! Most of all, I felt CONNECTED to Source in a way that I have only ever felt when being in the same room with a powerful energy healer in my community. A few days after my first session- I was emotional. I anticipated this possibility and remained as neutral as possible while observing my thoughts and letting the tears come. It passed within hours, and once again, I felt at peace.”

You can read about her full story here https://www.mpainschab.com/reading/emotioncode

2. Emily S.

Here is what Emily S. has to say, “My dad was taken to the clinic with a suspected stroke. During the conversation with the doctor, his symptoms of hand numbness and hesitant speech disappeared. Just at that moment, I had done an energetic remote session with him and released Trapped Emotions™. Three days later, the suspected stroke was confirmed on the MRI. He had had several small strokes, some of them a while before, which is probably why they went unnoticed.

“In the days that followed, I released further Trapped Emotions from him, remotely. Since then, his behavior has changed noticeably to the positive. He had been like a loner and withdrawn and now is much more in his inner center, conversing with other people and is much more relaxed. My mom says that living with him now has a completely different quality. She is very happy about it. I was allowed to work on her Heart-Wall® too. I am very grateful to have found this opportunity and to be able to do so much good for others, but also for myself. Thank you very much for sharing this ingenious method!”

3. Energy healing for vacation

P. Scott Stringham is a certified emotion code practitioner who says, “My friend Mary came to me because she thought she was going to have to cancel her long awaited trip to Europe. Her neck was in such pain that she didn’t think she could handle the long flight. Her chiropractor and medical doctor were not able to help. She was willing to try anything as she was supposed to leave in four days. I did one Emotion Code® session with her which linked her neck problem to a very stressful family event that occurred when she was a young woman. We cleared the Trapped Emotion™ and I asked her to call me the next day to tell me if she noticed anything different. The next day she said that she hadn’t wanted to say anything when we met because she couldn’t believe it was happening, but the pain in her neck was completely gone by the end of our session. She then had her best night’s sleep in months and was still feeling great. Several weeks later I ran into her and learned that her trip to Europe was pain-free and wonderful.”

Frequently Asked Questions About Emotion Code

1. What happens after an Emotion Code emotional healing session?

After an emotional code energy healing session, your energetic body goes through a processing period. When a trapped emotion is released, it leaves a hole in your energetic field. Over the coming days, these holes/voids fill with positive, loving energy. You may feel low or tired after an energy healing session. But there is nothing to worry about; your body is going through a good change. Just make sure that you are drinking plenty of water, taking a good sleep, and eating plant-based raw foods.

2. Will the trapped emotion come back?

No, once the trapped emotion is released, it is gone forever. You have a void now in your aura or energetic field that is filled with positive energy, and you’ll experience a healing time which can be a few hours to a few days or a week.

Don’t stop at one emotion for your distress or pain. Keep going back, asking for more. In a 30 minute session, the practitioner can oftentimes find 10-15 emotions and release them.

3. What is an Inherited Emotion?

We mentioned inherited emotion earlier in this blog. An inherited trapped emotion is simply a piece of emotional energy that is received from a parent at the moment of conception. It comes along with the DNA and physical material – if it’s from your mother, it will come with an egg, and if it’s from your father, it will come with sperm.

The “Inherited emotions” are different from the “Absorbed emotions.”

Inherited trapped emotions get trapped at the point mother conceives you, along with the rest of the genetic traits.

After conception and at any other point in your life, if you absorb a trapped emotion from another person, including a family member, that is called an “Absorbed emotion.” That is when someone else generates emotion, and you subconsciously absorb that energy into your body. Both inherited and absorbed emotions can become part of the Heart-Wall.

Inherited trapped emotions can go back to multiple generations.

4. What is a processing period?

You may have been living with your emotional baggage (traumas, stress, or abuse) for a long time, so it’s essential to allow your body to lead the way when it comes to releasing the trapped emotions and their negative energy.

When an emotion is released through Emotion Code Therapy, the body goes through a Processing Period – or healing period, which usually continues for a day or two.

About 20% of the time, people start noticing “symptoms” of processing, such as emotional sensitivity, crying, restlessness, a need for more sleep, lucid dreams, mild headache, or weakness. Very rarely, an aggravation of physical or emotional symptoms occurs, but like all treatments, it should continue only about a day or two at most.

At the end of the appointment, your practitioner may inquire how long your body wants to process the changes that emerged from the session. This Processing Period may or may not coincide with one or more mild yet noticeable symptoms.

Most people tend to feel physically lighter and happier after an emotional release. If this doesn’t happen right after the release, it usually occurs after the Processing Period is completed.

5. How should I prepare for my session?

It is recommended to dress comfortably for the session. You may be asked to stand or sit during the appointment. You may want to bring a notebook, pen and water bottle with you.

It is advised to drink water before each Emotion Code Therapy session. Good cellular hydration helps your sessions to be more effective and may ease the Processing Period.

6. What happens after the trapped emotions are released?

Your body knows the exact number of trapped emotions it can let go in one session and in what sequence it wants to release them. The practitioner will help to find these answers from your body during the emotion code session.

Most of the time, you will be able to identify and release about five to ten trapped emotions in a thirty-minute session. This is normal, but sometimes you may find that your body will only let you release two or three emotions in a session, and that’s okay. In this case, the body knows the best!

When you have released all the trapped emotions your body can release in a session, you will lose the ability to be tested temporarily because the body is processing and is in a state of exhaustion. When that happens, know that you are done for the time being until the next session. This usually takes 1-2 days but can take up to 4 or 5 days for some people. Again, your practitioner will assist you in finding these answers from your body during your session.

Each person is different in their process, everyone releases a different number of emotions in one session and they all feel different afterward. How many trapped emotions are indulged in one trauma you are having varies as well.

7. Do children have trapped emotions too?

A common myth is that this kind of emotional release therapy is only for adults. Children are often thought to be too young and innocent of acquiring the excess baggage that we have gained through our adult years. Unfortunately, children too have emotions that they need help with.

In reality, children and teens face a wide range of challenges on a daily basis, and it can be hard for adults to understand their child’s perspective and the influence that different experiences can have on them. The Emotion Code addresses the root cause of the imbalances, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

Children going through the following phases can benefit immensely from the Emotion Code Therapy:

  • Self-esteem or social issues
  • Fear or obsessive worrying
  • Autism, Asperger Syndrome or PDD-NOS
  • Chronic illness or other physical diseases
  • Body image issues or eating disorder
  • Have experienced abuse (mental, emotional, physical, sexual)
  • Depression or mood changes
  • Struggling at school
  • Following the medical or dental procedure
  • Bedwetting, nightmares, night terrors
  • Indigo, crystal, and rainbow children
  • Traumatic birth or other trauma/injury as an infant
  • ADHD, ODD, or OCD
  • Struggling with spiritual gifts
  • Have been bullied or are bullying others
  • Going through the divorce of their parents
  • High anxiety, sensitivity, or heightened emotional responses

Even children who aren’t experiencing any asymmetries in life can benefit from an energy healing session as part of their wellness routine. Sessions remove trapped negative emotions and other imbalances that may not yet be outwardly affecting the child and work to maintain a healthy and high-vibrational energy field, which is essential to general well-being.

Adolescents, children, and infants at any stage can be tested for trapped emotions, visible or not. Most often, a child has trapped emotions from when they were in the womb. Usually, these are the mother’s emotions during pregnancy, although at times they can come from the father or even from somebody else who is living with the family and is close to the mother, like the grandmother, grandfather, or a sibling.

Children also acquire trapped emotions during birth, early childhood, in school, during family events, or any other occasion in their lives. These trapped emotions can affect their behavior and possibly lead to learning difficulties and relationship problems.

Emotional release therapy is an excellent option for the whole family! Family dynamics can be greatly improved with it and it is a worthwhile investment.

8. If I want to work on the trauma from a specific event, do I have to talk about it?

If there is something that you speculate has affected you strongly and that may be the underlying reason for what you are experiencing, you should bring it to your session. You may disclose as much of it as you feel comfortable to your practitioner. Often times you just have to pay your attention to it, and that will be enough for the practitioner to test if there are any stored energies or emotions about the said event.

9. Can Emotion Code Therapy help me with my addiction?

Yes! Excellent results have been worked when working with clients who have some sort of addiction. It is believed that this is because most of the time, addictions aren’t a problem; they are usually someone’s temporary solution or distraction from the real problem.

People tend to abuse drugs/alcohol/coffee/food/porn etc., because it helps remove whatever distress they may be in and don’t want to experience that  (i.e., underlying trapped emotions). Once someone’s trapped emotions are cleared, the underlying cause of the addiction is released.

10. How many sessions do I need?

This question is asked frequently by the people who wish to undergo emotion code therapy, and it varies from person to person.

Suppose you are dealing with emotional trauma, distress, or abuse (physical or emotional) that was severe or has been with you for a long time. In that case, it may take more than one session to completely release and process all the trapped emotions from that incident.  After your first visit, your practitioner will advise any additional sessions based on your goals, needs, and response to the initial session. Generally, this will be between 3-5 sessions and no more than one week apart. Your practitioner will advise you on what will be best for your optimal healing.

11. Does it work for everyone?

It has been seen that almost everyone who takes these sessions experiences some sort of shift in their energies and emotions. That doesn’t mean they always knew they were experiencing changes and growth. For some people, it can be subtle or build with each session, and for some, they experience immediate change with each session. Even if you do not feel a difference, often others around you can see and feel it.

12. How Can You Become An Emotion Code Practitioner?

Through the emotion code certification, one can learn:

1. The postulates of energy healing and how you can apply them to reestablish wellness, joy, and potential in both people and animals.

2. How to penetrate the subconscious mind with the help of muscle testing.

3. How invisible emotional energy creates distress and discomfort in the body.

4. How Trapped Emotions and Heart-Walls can create challenges that can affect one’s feelings, choices, and actions

5. How inherited energies may influence us, and how it’s possible to remove them for ourselves, families, and future generations

6. How to identify and release Trapped Emotions and Heart-Walls, along with the stress they can create in lives and relationships.

Emotion code certification steps:

There are no prerequisites to signing up for The Emotion Code Certification program. Anyone, at any stage of knowledge, can sign up and begin the course.

Step 1: Enroll in the program.

Step2: Complete E-learning course.

Step 3: Complete practice sessions on 30 clients.

Phases of the certification program:

Phase 1 of the certification program is an E-learning course, which is completed entirely online. The E-learning course allows you to move at your own pace at the comfort of your own home. The E-learning course contains videos of a practitioner teaching specific principles, then each video is followed by a short quiz. Quizzes are designed to help retain the information only and are not graded or considered for the application. After all, you are done watching all the videos and have taken all the quizzes; you will have to appear for a final exam that you must pass in order to proceed further. You are allowed two attempts at the final exam and are expected to score 90% or better to pass.

Phase 2 of certification is practical, where you are expected to work with clients and record these sessions. You can start this assignment after completing and passing the E-learning course, and you will be given access to an interactive binder where you will track and record all sessions and notes with clients.

Requirements for Phase 2 of The Emotion Code certification:

  • Complete sessions on 30 clients (26 humans + 4 animals OR 10 humans + 20 animals)
  • Effectively remove 4 Heart-Walls

Takeaway

There are times when you suffer from chronic pain without any pathology behind it. And whenever you visit a physician, they tell you that it is psychological. Well, they are not totally wrong. While that pain may not be entirely psychological, it might have something to do with your psyche. Stuffing and blocking emotions may cause some physical and emotional distress that your body could not get rid of. The Emotion Code Therapy releases these trapped emotions, providing favorable conditions for the body to heal.
